Review of Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles (2013) by Omar L — 16 Dec 2013
Doing a set performed with a confidence that comes with experience, Sarah Silverman doesn't simply push the envelope; she illustrates what exactly the envelope is and shows you why it's ok (or not) to push it.
From 9/11 widows to vaginal odor to even her 19-year-old dog, Sarah Silverman doesn't so much let loose as she invites you to smile at the absurdities of comic restraint. There were few laugh out loud moments while I watched this set, but there were no moments when I got bored.
