Normally we would know when the festive season has arrived when we see that 'White Christmas' or 'It's A Wonderful life' is on most shelfs at the DvD store. We also walk past the section that bursting at the sides because it can't hold another copy of 'The Santa Clause' with Tim Allen. However, there are a few festive movies that are easily missed and, 'Santa's Slay' is one of them. How unfortunate.

'Santa's Slay opens with a cheesey but, very funny and violent opening scene where all of the movies top named actors and, actresses are killed off immediately by non other than Santa Claus himself.

After this we meet the main characters which includes the stereotypical teenage boy, his girlfriend and, his suppossedly crack pot grandfather. But, as we have all learnt from many stalk 'n' slash movies, the crazy one is normally the most sane.

The characters soon learn the truth. The fact that Santa is actually the demon son of Santan, who a thousand years ago made a bet with an angel, and lost. Because of his loss, Santa has to honour his bet and, for the next thousand years, be nice, jolly, and give all the children around the world presents on Christmas Eve.

But, the bet is over and, Santa is looking forward to his favourite pass time........Killing! Needless to say, it's going to be a violent night!

'Santa's Slay' isn't just for your horror junkies & Gore hounds. It has a great cast, performing a very funny tongue in cheek story that will keep you laughing for months. The movie doesn't take its self seriously at all which adds to the charm.

It's top with comedy violence, swearing old ladies, swearing children, the sport of curling and, a very short animated scene to explain the history of Santa.

Speaking of which, Bill Goldberg as Santa is a great casting choice. He doesn't a brilliant portrayal of Jolly old St. Nic and, he manages to make him quite menacing.

If you want a good laugh then, this movie is for you!
