Review of Santa's Slay (2005) by Alex V — 14 Dec 2009
This a very entertaining and campy movie obviously made on the cheap. This is more a comedy than horror, but I liked the idea of Santa Claus being a demon forced to do good due to losing a bet. And now that his time is up, he plans to wreak havoc as the now iconic fat man.
The main character is a boy whose is in harm's way because of his relation to the one who caused Santa's 1,000 years of service. The beginning of this film really sets the tone and features some nice cameos.
Overall this movie is very silly and features some great sight gags and cheesy one liners. The cast features moderate to good performances. I gave this a fresh because despite the films very obvious limitations, it is still very entertaining.
