Review of Santa vs. the Snowman (2002) by Jane B — 01 Dec 2009
Got this 3Der and was pretty excited to share it. Previewed it and wasn't enamored in either 3D or regular format. Adult jokes didn't come anywhere near the bar ('Toy Storyish' brilliance) and the kid stuff wasn't really a draw either.
Very, very scary looking elves. Narrator's voice wasn't the right pick for this. Coolest part may have been how the reindeer fly and the sweetness of what the snowman wants for Christmas. But that just isn't enough.
Interested to see how my thoughts compare to those of the munchkins who I'm going to run this by.
