Bizarre. Alejandro Jodorowsky might be a bitter bolus for many to swallow, but Santa Sangre is an enjoyable plunge into his freakishly compelling world of sacrilege and metaphysical episodes. Axel Jodorowsky, Guy Stockwell (grotesque), Thelma Tixou, and Blanca Guerra (hammy and scarifying as the manipulative Concha) form a superbly ridiculous cast.
