"I couldn't see this movie for 20 years" Jodorowsky said after the screening "because my daughter was in it and she died after the movie and it was just too painful to watch. Looking back at it now, I liked it very much, I like the way the camera moves and the use of music.".

It was funny how he was talking about he liked his own movie.

"In the movies today, the music is used to tell people how to feel, I hate that, in my movies the music is like a character itself.".

When asked about his influences he said.

"I'm not influenced by anyone but I influenced many people! Today, not many interesting movies are made but there is this Takashi Miike guy who surprises me sometimes. He makes some good stuff" which I totally agree.

My review of the movie? Well, it was like a much weirder version of Hitchcock's Psycho with a much more obvious mother figure, taking place in a circus. Of course, I like it very much!
