Review of Santa Claus: The Movie (1985) by Lex M — 09 Jul 2008
Hands down, the best movie Santa--David Huddleston IS Santa Claus...for me, he owns this role much as Gene Wilder owns the role of Willy Wonka or Peter Sellers owns the role of Inspecter Clouseau.
The first half of the movie is essentially the telling of the Santa fable, the second half is a more or less contemporary vignette of one elf and his perception of Santa's displeasure.
I have watched this movie every Christmas season since it came out.
