This really could be my favourite Christmas film of all time. I will be honest though and this might be wrong to say but I always found the bloke playing Santa Claus abit sinister! Dudley Moore is great as patch.
I grew up watching this film when they used to virtually put it on every Christmas Eve on the BBC. Had not seen it for a while when I watched it on DVD yesterday thought it was still very good, looks superb in widescreen.
The story starts off really good there is a slight dip in the middle but picks up towards the end, great soundtrack, Great Magical Christmas film.
