This old dude dies off and is resurrected as an immortal creature of the night. So it's a lot like The Crow only he gives presents instead of kills people. [looking at reviews it seems ppl are always expecting to relive something, it's just an expensive 80s movie with lame writing and grainy photography but entertaining episodes, and a beautiful score by Henry Mancini in that elaborate symphonic style he was also using that year on Lifeforce.
