Review of Santa Claus: The Movie (1985) by Thomas B — 25 Jul 2011
Just looking at some of the reviews for this film, it's another clear case of how critics perceive films and how audiences perceive them. This is one of the darker christmas classics about a corrupt toy baron, the dangers of assembly line production, and exploding candy canes :).
I think a lot more than 18% of people would say this is one of their favourite xmas films to see every year along with home alone. It's an enchanting tale that reminds you of the importance of family, and a life lesson about the dangers of greed and looking for the 'easy route' in life.
Good film.
