Review of Santa Claus (1959) by Cayleigh S — 29 Mar 2007
Unlike most people, I like the second one slightly better than this one. However, this is still one of the best holiday films ever made. Tim Allen plays Scott Calvin, a divorced dad who is trying to raise his six-year-old son, Charlie.
)Eric Lloyd) His ex-wife, Laura, (Wendy Crewson) has a . . . "boyfriend", Neil (Judge Reynolds). Neil wears sweaters, that Scott dislikes. Charlie is the best character in this movie, and six-year-old Eric Lloyd was probably the best child actor his age.
"The Santa Clause" is, and remains today, one of the best Christmas movies ever.
