Review of Sans Soleil (1983) by Stefan R — 20 Nov 2007
Chris Marker is an alien, seeing the world from angles no one ever thought possible. The postmodern world is fresh, exotic and spontaneous, contemplated as terrain not comprehensible on its own terms but in relation to a dizzying ephemeral system.
This film is more than any humanoid is designed to handle in a single sitting. Or maybe ever, in their entire lifetime.
