Review of Sans Soleil (1983) by Charlotte B — 22 Nov 2007
A unique labrintine film that reflects on the nature of memory, culture, travel, narrative, cats...just about everything. Wonderful images merge beautifully with a poetic voice over. It is challenging and wont be for everyone, but if you allow yourself to get lost in the world of Marker's vision you will be richly rewarded.
