Review of Sandy Wexler (2017) by Jak-Luke S — 23 Jul 2017
A genuinely horrific film to sit through. The humour isn't here, the script is utterly barbaric in the sense of what it thinks is funny. Why Sandler aims at a generation of idiots that aren't here anymore make my head crumble.
The film itself has a rags to riches story and somehow makes one of Hollywood's oldest and loved stories into a film I will never ever want to watch again. The person who gave this final cut at 130 minutes needs to be fired, what a complete and utter joke.
The idea of Hudson and Sandler ever having chemistry or the ability to act out a romance also needs to vacate whatever role they play in the film industry.
