Clearly the writers and directors of this movie did absolutely no research about earthquakes, physics, geology, tsunamis, aviation, engineering, construction, or even boating for that matter. Maybe they'd at least research something called "acting", in lieu of these other oversights.
I might as well be watching Sharknado.
