Review of Samurai I: Musashi Miyamoto (1954) by Evan K — 31 Mar 2016
Having watched all three in the series i've realised the incapability of DVD to translate light from films - a lot of night scenes are too dark to make sense of. I do appreciate its high level of art achievement and the beautiful compositions that make the series more poetic; yet i'm not gonna lie about it.
. I don't know if I like it, esp. when taking the whole history thing into account.. hmmm.
