I loved the book, and as usual, was concerned about how well it would translate to film... I was very pleasantly surprised. The film captures the heart and impact of Ron, Debbie, and Denver's story and relationship so well! The acting is excellent throughout, and the film succeeds in drawing you in on many levels.

There are several powerful messages conveyed through the film without feeling like a "message" movie. You walk away having enjoyed and been moved by a powerful love story that explores the impact that forgiveness, grace, and stepping out of your comfort zone can have on individuals and our world.
