Review of Salto (1965) by Grant W — 06 Feb 2008
Gorgeous and really moving. A great use of color tints brings out lush and thick sense of atmosphere. I adore scenes of beautiful women dancing alone in kitschy settings and aside from Juliette Lewis in 'Natural Born Killers' I don't think I'm aware of it ever being done any better than Abbie Cornish dancing to Alvin Stardust in this film.
