One of the first blacklisted American movies, and possibly the most American movie ever as it really touches on the questions of freedom and equality. This is a wonderful, passionate black-and-white movie.
I don't recommend this to everyone, it is *extremely* bleeding-heart and long and slow-paced. For me, that's the ideal. For people not exactly like me, it could be much.
