Salmon Fishing In The Yemen is the story of government employee Dr. Alfred Jones (Ewan McGregor), a rather introverted scientist, who is drawn into a project hatched by a fly fishing-obsessed Yemeni Sheikh (Amr Waked), who dreams of introducing salmon to the wadis of the Yemen.

This charming film from director Lasse Hallstrom (Chocolate), that has stellar chemistry between its stars Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor, while somewhat predictable, is a great watch. The film does suffer from some slow pacing.

Also, some of the deeper accents are difficult to understand. The film receives a B+ grading and is currently out on home video.
