Review of Sakuran (2006) by James B — 17 Aug 2007
Anna Tsuchiya as Ive never seen her. A stunning insight into the ancient underworld of Japan, that those with rose tinted spectacles want to forget. Yes, Japan has its secrets. One of te most stunning areas is the musical score, a mix of contempory music that clearly isnt in with the period, yet fits so perfectly.
Watch it, watch it now.
