Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by Nathan T — 24 Oct 2007
A full undisputed five stars! This is not a traditional war film where one scene after the other has someone blowing up, but this has a fresh new storyline following a ragtag group of US Soldiers. Starting in the wake of a POW massacre, a few surviving US Soldiers must take some valuable information through enemy lines to the US Front.
Following a missionary-turned-soldier (one of the more movie-defining characters) this film is packed full of drama and scenes of "I never thought of that" that will leave you wanting to watch it again and again.
