Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by Michael S — 18 Dec 2008
If you only see one Mormon produced WWII film, make it this one. Director Ryan Little gets a lot of mileage out of his low budget and the action sequences are better than most Hollywood action films. Unfortunately, the characters are ones you've seen before (the soldier with a past, the smart ass New Yorker and the Southern Good Ol' Boy).
It might not be a great film but what it does it does well.
