Saints and Soldiers accomplishes everything that movies like Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down do, except with a twist: it was made for less than $1 million dollars. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Hollywood.
Here's an independent film with all the goods, minus the outrageous budget. Easily a top five favorite war movie of mine, and definitely worth the watch.
