Saint Laurent is a study in style over substance. It is beautiful to look at, but meanders giving the illusion that nothing actually happend in Yves Saint Laurent's life. It just kind of was. If you're expecting any kind of insight into the famed designers life, this film will be a disappointment.
However, if you want a celebration of YSL's style and what he brought to fashion then Saint Laurent is worth a look.
