Although it has very modest ambitions, Safety not Guaranteed delivers a heartfelt story with plenty of dramatic intrigue as well. The ideas of lost youth and escapism are set up by the implementation and execution of a believable time travel story.

The acting is good and each character has a good amount of depth. Endearing, intelligent, and always funny, Safety Not Guaranteed is a quiet little movie that is sure to win over a majority of audiences.
