Safe House (2012).
Directed by: Daniel Espinosa.
R, 1 hr. 55 min.
Release Date: February 10, 2012.
Not so far fetched as say ..'Salt' but in the same league though not the same international spy game feature 'gimmic up' but closer to home or what actually could be y`know.
This film I couldn`t find my review notes for but as I recall it was very good. I liked it a lot. about the technical action, the inexperienced novice going by the book. the best by rep ex-field op in custody over vague charges and when an assassination on him as the prisoner is attempted, the novice gets to take charge of the far superior incarcerated superior, both at arms and psychologically..
Fairly brutal on location to the degree of not hiding any ugly truths, majority set in south Africa I believe.
Top notch thrilling action sequences keep you gripped until the very end. Impressive.
