Review of Safe House (2012) by Conrad K — 05 Nov 2012
Rogue CIA agent turned mercenary is under the custody of an essential nobody. Washington's character could have easily taken Reynolds' out but doesn't for some silly reason: he admires Reynolds' character, very similar to the concept behind the western, "3:10 to Yuma.".
This is a typical CIA/FBI/intelligence flick where the government is backstabbing their own, and the underdog agent somehow manages to be the only one willing to do the right thing.
Forgettable plot, strong cast, excellent pace.
