Review of Safe House (2012) by David S — 12 Nov 2012
Safe House had so much potential to be a good film, it had great potential for Denzel Washington's character to dissect the mind of Ryan Reynold's character. However, with a great set-up of a professional prisoner, and a rookie guard, nothing amounts anything, and the movie becomes another standard blow-up shoot-out fest.
What could easily have been a movie of the year with a better written script in regards to the finality and the execution, Safe House is unfortunately dismissible and forgettable.
