Review of Safe House (2012) by Marsha W — 12 Jan 2013
An average thriller made hugely watchable by great performances from Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Washington has such amazing screen presence he just makes anything he's in 10 times better.
His performance just puts everyone else in the shade as usual. The chemistry between the two leads is good and Reynolds is more than believable in his role. Generally the storyline isn't anything new but there are some decent action scenes and a bit of intrigue to keep it interesting.
