With an interesting idea, a good script full of fine dialogue written by David Guggenheim, a fantastic cast headed by Denzel Washington as Tobin Frost, Ryan Reynolds as David Weston, Brendan Gleeson as David Barlow, Vera Farmiga as Catherine Linklater and special appearances by Robert Patrick and Sam Shepard, fine directing by Daniel Espinosa and an alright pace and flow, Safe House makes you wonder if a safe house is really the safest place you can be in.
