Review of Safe Haven (2013) by Gail M — 29 Jun 2013

For the first half hour of this movie, I felt that it was very similar to The Notebook with one scene in particular standing out as almost identical. However, the antagonist in this movie is far worse and actually surprised me a little, as I never expected Nicholas Sparks to write such a twisted character.

I was actually shocked at the climax and didn't really expect it from this movie. But the movie isn't quite as beautiful to observe as The Notebook but is still thoroughly enjoyable.
