Review of Safe Haven (2013) by Shanya D — 27 May 2013
Mandatory girls night. It was not my choice to see this movie. Not since the Notebook has any Nicholas Sparks' novel lived up to it's movie expectations (and, let's be honest, The Notebook was his best novel.
Everything else is just mediocre and, quite frankly, boring and predictable). Needless to say, this is not my kind of movie. The acting was terrible, the insane plot twists were unbelievable, even laughable, and the cinematography gave me a headache.
At least there was one good thing we all learned from this movie: Julianne Hough still sucks at acting.
