Review of Safe Haven (2013) by Jiana W — 25 Jul 2013
Stopped making sense about half an hour in. If you are being chased by a cop and decide to hop a bus at a station where there is undoubtedly surveillance cameras everywhere, how the hell do you stay in the state your bus travels to? And for that long? You travel to one state and remain there knowing good and damn well you are being pursued by a professional....?
Logically, she would move on to a different state. But this is Nicholas Sparks. We must ignore logic and real-world behavior. Also, you pretty much figure out what the deal is with Katie and the cop long before it's officially revealed. There is, however, a fairly decent plot twist towards the end that I did not see coming. Kudos for that one.
