The book is phenomenal. I broke the rules and watched the movie first, I wish I didn't ruin it for myself like that. but Nicholas sparks is obviously doing something right because all of his books turn into movies, if you read the book you will find differences, if you haven't read the book and go see this movie you will like it, but I strongly suggest giving the book a chance it gives a whole new meaning to the movie.
