Review of Safe Haven (2013) by Elizabeth C — 16 Sep 2013

My sister wanted me to watch this because she loves it, so I did... And she's going to kill me, for this but here goes.... Cheesy, predictable, and really awful writing. Like REALLY awful. It felt like the second draft of a script the writer didn't care about.

The characters were constantly explaining who they were instead of showing, the husband and the dead wife felt forced into the story most of the time (until the third act of course), and it was messy.

I didn't care about the situation really at all. I only cared a little bit because Julianna Hough is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. This movie shows how much I love my sister in order to have sat through the whole thing.
