Review of Safe Haven (2013) by Brandon V — 04 Aug 2014
It has the most splendid exterior that any of these Nicholas Sparks adaptations have had thus far, but it's also equally if not more lazy, predictable and trashy. Fortunately, the entirely unrealized fatuousness gives "Safe Haven" an almost Tommy Wiseau-esque charm, so it isn't really torture to sit through.
Bravo. Hold on a second, I'm off to kill some people that took this seriously and found it to be legitimately good.
