Plot/Summary,An affirming and suspenseful story about a young woman's struggle to love again, Safe Haven is based on the novel from Nicholas Sparks, the best-selling author behind the hit films The Notebook and Dear John. When a mysterious young woman arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.

My Review.

"I love you and I can't let you go".

This is the best Nicholas Sparks adapted movie since the notebook and im not just saying that, I mean it had some changes that were good it had all of what I wanted except for one scene, that was in the book but not in the movie. The part of the book that im talking about is the part in chapter 2 of the book where Jo and Katie have this conversation. There drinking tea and jo was asking Katie questions about her past life. That wasn't in the movie which was kind of disappointing cause I liked that part of the book and I was pretty sad that didn't get put into the movie. But like I said there were some changes that were good like that scene were Alex played brilliantly bu Josh Duhamel sees the Person of intrest picture of Aron(Katie) and go's to her and telss her to leave. Along with another scene that was pretty short but cool where Kevin's boss is confronting him and says he's suspended. The acting is splendid and I thought the kids who played Josh and Lexi were really good. I Even thought the scenes with Katie running away and being beaten by Kevin were well executed cause they seemed suspensful. This to me truly is the best Nicholas Sparks adaption since The Notebook I gives Safe Haven a thumps way up and a 5 out of 5.
