Review of Sadgati (1981) by C.j. S — 29 Dec 2008
A film full of disturbing truths about man's potential for violence and the conflict between civilization and nature that has been tragically reduced to a punchline for a bad joke. Boorman brings the nuances of Dickey's book to terrible reality and created a film much greater than the cliches it has come to represent.
