Hard to watch. Ned Beatty didn't do so well on his return to Sodomy Creek when Burt took him back for a catharsis. The back story on the scenes is worth knowing... not all of it was acting. Burt did a great interview on this movie a few years ago and said a lot about the casting and filming that makes seeing it more interesting.
Timeless banjo music.
