Creepy, disturbing, and unforgettable. Deliverance packs a punch big enough to knock out an Elephant. It starts of nice an smoothly, and then it becomes almost a horror movie. You can tell while watching Deliverance how director John Booreman's direction has been copied, or has influenced later thrillers.
The performances are all great, with Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight shining in their roles.
