Review of Sadgati (1981) by Meghan C — 09 Nov 2009
8/10 Deliverance from its introduction is a unique movie, the first scenes with the dueling banjos songs, the appearance of the hillbillies and the views of the Georgian nature are just an introduction to the strange, obscure and deep movie that lies ahead. The movie visually is beautiful and the landscapes and the camera use is outstanding. The story is unique with some perturbing moments and a lot of scenes and dialogs that can be deeply analyzed. All of the actors give their greatest performances and the conclusion while plain is as haunting as the entire movie. A great thriller with an amazing setting.
P.S The artwork of the DVD or Blu-Ray box is terrible but as the saying says don´t judge a book by its cover.
