Having had a couple days to let it settle with me, I have to say that Deliverance is a harrowing and unforgettable experience. I'm glad I finally got around to seeing it knowing absolutely nothing about it.
It's been referenced enough in pop culture my whole life, you figure it would have been ruined for me.
