Review of Sadgati (1981) by Guillaume H — 09 Feb 2014
We all know this movie even if we haven't seen it. We know what it's famous for. Honestly, that's probably what got me to watch it, out of morbid curiosity. But what's under that is a surprisingly tense, gritty, morally ambiguous story of violence and survival.
Even if one particular moment has achieved pop culture icon status, and justifiedly so, I think it does a little disservice to what's actually a more compelling survival movie than I would have expected.
