John Boorman's great outdoor thriller with Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty and Ronny Cox's canoe holiday turning into a nightmare, thanks to the foul play of some unfriendly locals. Fast-paced, no-nonsense and expertly staged by Boorman.
