Review of Saboteur (1942) by Mike P — 22 Feb 2008
It's weird how the end reflects what Hitchcock would do later with North By Northwest. Priscilla Lane is more of a girl next door type of blonde as opposed to Hitchcock's other blonde bombshells, and Robert Cummings doesn't carry the same naivete or charisma as Jimmy Stewart, but it's still a great movie with a fun story to follow.
Less intriguing than his other movies that dealt with a framed protagonist, but if you look at the movie on its own rather than as a part of Hitchcock's career, it's fun and enjoyable at the very least.
