Review of Saboteur (1942) by Jack G — 11 Aug 2008
American quasi-remake of 39 Steps (more-so than North by Northwest) benefits from some zany and even poignant supporting characters, and of course the Statue of Liberty finale. For all its extra money, and Selznick's producer stamp, it simply is not as great as the 39 Steps.
