Review of Saboteur (1942) by Jake G — 20 Oct 2009
A brilliant film made at the height of WW2 paranoia, Hitchcock's SABOTEUR is a successful thriller. There are a number of key scenes that are brilliant- the scene in the ballroom, particularly, is masterfully orchestrated; and the statue of liberty scene- one of the hallmark scenes of the suspense genre.
Don't neglect the B&W classics, and see SABOTEUR. It's worth seeing for several of these scenes alone.
