Review of Sabotage (2014) by Omar L — 13 Dec 2014
The lead character of John "Breacher" Wharton (Schwarzenegger) could have been played by anyone, really. There's just not much depth to his character. Regardless, it is Schwarzenegger's most serious role that I can remember, meaning that there isn't much joy in the role.
No one-liners, nothing like that. Instead, we have a whodunit with some very tight action scenes that are quite intense to watch. The ensemble cast does their part, but the standout performer with these relatively shallow characters is Sam Worthington.
He displays a charisma on the screen that was missing in Clash of the Titans, and I hope he does more roles like this.
