Review of Ryan's Daughter (1970) by Jessica C — 04 Feb 2008
The main thing that made this movie to me is the Oscar winning cinematography by Freddie Young who just blew you away with his work on this film. As for the rest of the film, my favorite characters in the film were those played by Robert Mitchum and Trevor Howard because those were the only two who showed any kind of intellegence to me.
I think this film was a bit too long and slow but I like it for the cinematography and the afore mentioned characters.
